Hello there!
Welcome to my portfolio.
Even though this website is mainly focused on my photography, I like to describe myself as a "touche à tout" artist, and I thought I'd tell you a little bit about my other alter egos in this bio.

Photography to heal
My journey photographing people began with self-portraits.
During my teenage years, it became a powerful tool to overcome insecurities. Then I started photographing my friends, and I witnessed the transformative potential of the shots I was taking. It amazed me how a single photograph could challenge the biased self-image we often carry, dismantling the mental constructs we build. My purpose is to use photography as a means to empower people, helping them rediscover their inner strength and beauty, unlearn societal stereotypes, and rekindle their connection to themselves while nurturing their creativity.

Traveling
With roots in Belgium and a heart forever chasing wanderlust, I've embraced a nomadic lifestyle. I’ve lived on 4 different continents, and now in Australia, I seize every chance to continue exploring new horizons and cultures. The joy of discovering diverse environments and learning from different societies resonates deeply with me. In my landscape and cityscape photography, I try to convey emotions through shape, texture and color.
Through sharing my experiences, I aspire to inspire others to step out of their comfort zones, explore the world, and embrace new adventures.

My learning journey
I'm totally obsessed with learning new techniques to make art. I guess it all comes back to the scientist in me, I love experimenting. On this picture, I'mlearning how to work with metal to build a structure for an Art Car for Burning Man. You can learn more about this amazing event in the "music and festivals" tab. I am always looking out to work on new projects, so if you’re an artist who is looking for some help for a large-scale project, don’t hesitate to contact me!

Music
I like to think I was born singing. It all started with Disney movies and an Ella Fitzgerald tape.
Participating in collaborative projects and jam sessions has led me to connect with amazing humans and has been a way to continue learning and getting involved into fun projects.
Years ago I would have never thought I’d have music on spotify, yet here I am!
